Dr. Reem, a general dentist, married to Dr. Sahib, who’s also a dentist with two children, who’s passionate and enthusiastic about providing healthy straight, beautiful smiles to her patients.
Dr Reem was born in Baghdad, raised in Kuala Lumpur and has graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery class in 2010 from the University of Sharjah, UAE. Following her graduation, she migrated to Canada, where she continued her journey and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2015 from the University of Western Ontario.
She has a passion for education and is always looking for numerous ways to expand her knowledge base through technical courses to keep up to date with the latest technologies and medical-dental advancement. Since she became an Invisalign provider in 2016, it has been her mission to continuously learn the latest techniques and processes to ensure a pleasant Invisalign journey for her patients.
Dr. Salam’s attitude towards patients is to treat them as if they are part of the family. It’s always a long term relationship, so providing multiple treatment options and taking the time to explain the pros and cons of each option are paramount before finally aiding them in making an informed decision.
Dr. Sahib Graduated from the University of Al Mustansiriya in 2009 and completed his National Canadian Dental Boards in 2014. He is passionate about promoting oral health and educating his patients while ensuring they are comfortable while receiving dental care.
Dr. Sahib developed his passion for dentistry at a young age, due to malocclusion. He started visiting the dentist regularly to realign his teeth and this was the starting point for his dental exposure, which inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry. He is known for his gentle touch and his compassionate chair side manner; he is certified in nitrous and iv sedation and is always expanding and continuing his knowledge within dentistry.
Dr. Sahib is married to a general dentist, Dr. Reem Salam, who is passionate about braces and Invisalign. Together they have two beautiful children named Adam (7yr) and Maya (5yr). For extracurricular activities, he loves to play soccer, go to the gym, and spending quality time with his children. Dr. Sahib and his wife are looking forward to joining and celebrating the community of Rockwood.

My name is Asma. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Dr. Reem Salam & Dr. Sahib Maallah. I’m proud to say I love working at Ridge Square Dental because we treat each other like family.
I have around 12 years of experience working in the dental field. I started as Certified Dental Assistant and then Front Desk Administrator.
During my work as front desk administrator I had the chance to complete many of the Contiuing Dental Education Courses.
2016 I finished level 2 Botox course at PTIFA (Pacific Training Institute for Facial Aesthetics)in Vancouver.
2017-2018 I finished the Dental Practice Management Course in the University Of Toronto Faculty of Dentistry. Finally I completed the Medical Office Administration course just to increase my skill level as a patient care coordinator.
Sherisse has a very strong background with many years of experience working in medical offices. Most of her past working Career has been in Chiropractic, in which she was the Technical Chiropractic assistant/X Ray Tech. She has always been very active with all natural forms of healing and healthy living; she appreciates the opportunity it has given her to meet and communicate with a variety of wonderful people every day. “It is great to be a part of this unique office and to work with such talented and caring people”.
She really enjoys getting to know each person and she is always willing to ensure your visit is an enjoyable experience. Her fun yet professional, helpful manner will ensure that your visit is a compassionate and efficient one.
She is caring, considerate, loves working with people and she is always striving to help others as much as possible. “I strive to make sure that all patients are able to better understand their proposed treatment as well as help to find a way to make it attainable for them. Outside the office Sherisse loves spending time with her two very active boys, her husband and her fur babies Koda and Barkley. When she isn’t being the boys chauffeur she enjoys all outdoor winter activities and settling in for a good movie, book and glass of wine.
With a strong background in marketing, business administration, and office management, Alison brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role as a Patient Care Coordinator at Ridge Square Dental. Combining a passion for customer service with a deep understanding of business operations, Alison is dedicated to ensuring that every patient has a smooth, efficient, and welcoming experience from their first appointment to post-treatment care.
In her role, Alison excels at coordinating patient schedules, handling insurance and billing inquiries, and providing vital support to both the clinical team and patients. Her keen organizational skills and ability to manage office workflows seamlessly ensure that the office runs smoothly, allowing the dental professionals to focus on providing top-quality care.
Outside of the office, Alison enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids and dog Beau.
With over 5 years of experience with children and adults our hygienist Josie has been part of the Ridge Square Dental team from the start. Graduating from Oxford College of Arts, business, and technology, and maintaining licensing with CDHO and CDHA Josie has specialized in implementing protocols to providing optimal oral health treatment for every patient.
Josie fell in love with dentistry at a young age. While watching older siblings and cousins have orthodontic treatment Josie was always curious on how it all worked.
While juggling a busy home life with an almost two-year-old, husband, and stepdaughter, Josie dedicates her love and passion for dentistry at Ridge Square Dental.
With over a decade of experience in the dental field, Rebekka graduated in 2013 with a certification in dental assisting. Rebekka is skilled in providing top-notch patient care and supporting the dental team in creating a comfortable environment for patients.
Outside of her professional role, Rebekka has three children and successfully balances her career with the responsibilities of family life.
